At the North East STEM Foundation, our mission is clear: to break down barriers and create
opportunities for young people to explore and excel in the fields of science, technology,
engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
STEM education is more than just a collection of subjects; it is the foundation upon which the
future of our society is built. Every day, we see how young minds across our region are
shaping the possibilities of tomorrow. Yet too many of them face barriers - financial
constraints, lack of access to resources, or limited encouragement to pursue these fields.

The charity's aim is to ensure every young person, regardless of background, has an opportunity to study STEM subjects in a high-quality, modern environment supported by employers, futureproofing both industry and the local economy by delivering highly-skilled, innovative workers.
